Our Core Belief
It is our core belief at P.S. 129 that through a commitment to educational excellence, in a secure and supportive environment, the P.S 129 community will inspire students to become lifelong learners and to develop a strong sense of self-worth and respect. We facilitate scientific discovery, artistic creativity, and the use of technology. We respect different learning styles and encourage students to become independent thinkers and responsible citizens in a diverse world. Our motto is “Children can…”, encouraging children to never give up and realize that they have not mastered something ‘yet’. We encourage a growth mindset and the fact that we all make mistakes and can learn from them.
